Arboretum

Meetings & Workshops

A meeting room
that doesn’t feel like oneMeeting & Workshop Space — Virginia Beach Oceanfront

Rounds, a U-shape, or lecture rows — with big windows, space for coffee and a screen, and lunch that arrives without anybody having to find their car.

The Room

Daylight, for once

Most meeting space in a beach town is a windowless box off a hotel lobby. Arboretum is a room with big windows on Laskin Road, which matters more than it sounds like it should when you are asking people to concentrate until four o’clock.

Set it in rounds for a workshop, a U-shape for a board meeting, or rows for a training session. There is space for coffee at the back and a screen at the front, and corners you can break out into when the group needs to split up.

How the room is set

Layout
Rounds, U-shape, lecture rows, or an open floor. Space for coffee at the back and a screen at the front.
Timing
A half day or a full one. Tell us the shape of the agenda and we will set the room to match it.
Breaks
Corners to break out into, and a catered lunch that arrives without the group having to go and find their cars.

Food & Drink

Lunch that doesn’t
lose the afternoon

Arboretum shares Laskin Road with two restaurants under the same roof of hospitality. Book the room and you can bring their kitchens with it — one point of contact, menus built for your headcount, and food that arrives hot from a few doors down. Working with an outside caterer instead is welcome too; we’ll share the prep space and house rules on your tour.

Pacifica

Tapas & Cocktails — 328 Laskin Road

Hot and cold tapas and grazing boards, eaten standing if the conversation is still going.

Right for a working lunch, or a reception at the end of an offsite.

Sorella’s

An Italian Eatery — 356 Laskin Road

Fresh pasta and family-style plates down the middle of the table.

Right for a sit-down team lunch, or a dinner that closes the day out.

Questions

Before you
send the inquiry

Do you provide AV equipment?

The room has space for a screen at the front, and we will talk through where your kit goes on your tour. Bring your own laptop, display and any recording gear — or tell us what you need when you inquire and we will tell you what works in the room.

Can we book a half day?

Yes. Send the rough shape of the agenda with your inquiry — half day, full day, or an evening — and we will come back with availability.

Is lunch catered?

It can be. Pacifica and Sorella’s are both on Laskin Road under the same hospitality group, so a catered lunch is one point of contact and a short walk rather than a delivery window. Bringing an outside caterer is welcome too.

Where do attendees park?

A public parking garage on 32nd Street sits directly behind the building.

Is it walkable for out-of-town attendees?

Yes. Arboretum is near the north end of the Boardwalk, walkable from the beach and the 31st Street hotels, which makes it a straightforward room to put an offsite or a multi-day workshop in.

Can we run a reception after the session?

Yes. The light dims for the evening, and the tables can come down for standing food and a bar once the working part is over. Mention it when you inquire so the turnaround gets planned in.
